Our
keyworker system gives each member of staff a particular
responsibility for a few children. This special adult will
help your child to settle into Pre-School and progress
in their early education. Your keyworker maintains a link
with the home setting and works together in partnership
with the parents. Key workers are responsible for the observations,
record keeping and planning for their key children. The name
of your child’s keyworker is displayed on the notice-board
in the foyer.
The Pre-School uses the curriculum guidance for the foundation
stage, which is the first curriculum for children aged three
to five years, and uses early learning goals. This foundation
stage curriculum is carried on in class one of the primary
reception year.
