At Martley & District
Pre-School
we aim to provide a happy, secure and caring environment
where children feel welcome and learn to socialise, share
and become confident in early skills.
What do the children do here?
They
learn:
To play
with other children, sharing and cooperating. To
trust new adults and gain confidence. To
experiment with a multitude of play media. To
express themselves in new and interesting ways. To
listen to other stories with other children. To
develop their language and conversation skills. To
acquire the basics of early mathematics skills. To
work things out independently and in a variety of ways. To
have fun in doing all of the above.
To achieve the above, the children learn through play, as
much indoors as outdoors. If you wish to discuss this with
a member of staff in more detail, please feel free to ask.
